Our children’s ministry provides an atmosphere in which every child feels loved and valued. With our teachings always geared toward the child’s age and comprehension level, we lay the foundation for having a genuine relationship with Christ. We help the child grow in knowledge and understanding of that relationship through Bible training and simple practice of Christian principles.
Our children’s ministry serves boys and girls in grades one through six. Here are some of the programs and opportunities available to them.
BIBLE STUDY
There are multiple hours and Sunday School classes for children in grades one through six. The Sunday School organization serves as the foundation of the children’s ministry as it seeks to reach, teach, and help boys and girls know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
CHOIR
This offers your child a wonderful opportunity to learn musical skills from outstanding teachers and the special joy of singing for Jesus. All children are encouraged to participate.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Our children’s ministry offers a full calendar of fun events throughout the year including rodeos, hayrides and cookouts, holiday parties, and campouts. The friends children make through these events often last a lifetime.
NURSERY/PRESCHOOL
Our preschool ministry establishes a loving foundation for newborns through kindergarten age to begin to learn about our Lord Jesus Christ. We treat all children as individuals and help them grow in the knowledge of God and understanding of others. Parents receive information to guide them in teaching the Bible at home.
Our preschool ministry is staffed with caring workers who are trained to work with each age group. Beautiful nursery facilities are provided to ensure that attend church is something to anticipate.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
These age-grouped classes meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.
PARENT/INFANT DEDICATION PARADE
Parents make their commitment to raise their child in the nurture and admonition of God, and our church family pledges to support them as they raise their child.
This is a parade of decorated wagons with all our yearly newborns brought through the auditorium where a picture is taken with the parents, child, and Pastor & Mrs. Pledger.
EXPECTANT PARENTS BRUNCH
This is a brunch for expectant parents, introducing them to our nursery facilities and giving them parenting tips.
PARENTING SESSIONS WITH THE PASTOR
Special classes are conducted by Pastor to help provide a wonderful Christian home for your children.
